Rolling Loud Miami Pushes 2021 Dates Again Here's When the HipHop Festival Will Return

Rolling Loud festival will return to Miami for the first time since 2019.

When up-and-coming cartoonist Keef Knight has a traumatic run-in with the police, he begins to see the world in an entirely new way.

The hip-hop festival usually occurs in May, but will move to July 23-25 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens.

Producers for Rolling Loud said they intend to keep as much of the 2020 lineup as possible. Headliners for last year's lineup included Post Malone and A$AP Rocky.

"We can’t wait to reunite together in the pits we’ve all grown to love (and miss) so much," producers said in a statement. "Many of you, like us, have been looking forward to Rolling Loud for months now. And although we may need to wait a little bit longer, trust that this comeback and reunion will be even stronger."

For the 2021 edition, Rolling Loud will honor all passes for fans who held on to their 2020 tickets, and will grant refunds to ticketholders who are no longer able to attend. Limited tickets for the 2021 festival will be available for sale at a date to be announced.

"We want to extend a massive thank you to all of our ragers who have held on to their tickets," the statement said. Rolling Loud said information on how to obtain a refund for 2020 passes will come later this month. "We are also working on sweetening the deal for those of you who choose to keep your tickets in addition to the rage pack you already earned from the last reschedule."

Since having to cancel its 2020 event due to the global coronavirus pandemic, Rolling Loud has attempted to move its signature festival several times. The festival has acknowledged the issues this may have caused for fans who have booked and rebooked travel. "For those of you who made hotel and/or travel reservations in May, we hear your travel concerns and realize that this is not an ideal situation. Thankfully, many major airlines are not currently charging change fees, and most Miami hotels have policies in place that allow for refunds," Rolling Loud said in the statement.

During the pandemic, with no live show possibilities in sight, Rolling Loud pivoted to the world of livestreaming, drawing millions of unique viewers. Rolling Loud has hosted three multi-day "Loud Stream" festivals on Twitch, with headliners such as Trippie Redd, Swae Lee, Gunna, Ski Mask The Slump God, Fetty Wap, and Lil Skies. The festival also uses its official Twitch channel to drive and comment on rap culture, welcoming special guests to weekly programming including The Rotation, The Leak, Got Bars? and more.
