America’s already acquainted with Swedish pop star Zara Larsson — her MNEK duet “Never Forget You” continues to climb the Hot 100, and her 2015 single “Lush Life” is as good as modern Top 40 gets — but now another member of the Scandinavian family wants in on the action. Her name is Hanna Larsson, and she makes up half of the new musical duo Hanna & Andrea, who’ve signed to Ten Music and released their debut single “Always On My Mind” via Popjustice earlier today.
This isn’t a case of nepotism, mind you; “Always On My Mind” is written by Mack Habolim, Robert Habolin, and Patrizia Helander, and treads a hypnotic line as muted synths weave in and out of frame. Its chorus is anthemic. Its verses are intricate and memorable. Really, all in all, “Always On My Mind” is quite an entrance to the pop world for Hanna & Andrea. Hear it below.
